“Hey Nanamin.”

Nanami looked up from his book, Gojo leaning over the backrest of the couch to peer down at him. There was a playful smile on his face. “Yes?”

“Wanna get married?”

Nanami lowered the book to rest on his lap, using his thumb as a bookmark.

“Why?”

“Didn’t Beyoncé say if you like it you should put a ring on it? Besides,” Gojo leaned his chin on his braided fingers, batting his eyelashes at him. “Nanami Satoru has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?”

Nanami gave him a long look. “Did you ask me this just so you could make a pun?”

“No way!” Gojo slipped into the seat next to him. “It’s also for tax purposes.”

“You hardly need to worry about money.” Nanami raised an eyebrow. “Give me a serious answer and I’ll at least consider it.”

For another long moment, they stared at each other in silence, Gojo’s cheeks growing pink. Finally, he spoke again. “Because I like you?”

Nanami hummed, taking in the flustered look on Gojo’s face. He didn’t think he was playing around this time. “I won’t marry you,” he said, watching Gojo wilt like a flower. “How about we start with dating and go from there?”

Gojo’s eyes lit up, a smile spreading on his face. “Just so you know, I’m a clingy boyfriend.”

Nanami huffed a small laugh. “I’m not surprised in the least.”
